Not everyone's schedule can accommodate training classes. That's why I bring professional training services right to your own home and offer session times on weekends.
Nothing is ever truly one-size-fits-all and training shouldn't be either. I offer flexible training schedules, methods, and pricing options so your training fits your needs.
Types of Training Offered
Service Dog Training
Public access, mobility, stability, DPT, psychological support tasks, and more! If you bring me an idea that I haven't trained yet I'll gladly help you find someone who has done so successfully or build my knowledge based until I can create a training plan for it.
Basic Manners
Is your dog begging at the table, bowling over your guests, or digging up your flowers? We can fix that! While these behaviors are perfectly normal and acceptable in "dog world," they get in the way of how we want our households to run. I can help your dog behave the way you want and be happy while they do it.
Advanced Obedience
I have extensive experience training heads-up heeling, fronts, retrieve over a jump, flat retrieves, down/sit/stand out of motion, send-outs, long downs, public access, as well as CGC behaviors. Ready to take your dog to the next level? I can help!
Scent Work
Footstep tracking, article indication, scent detection, and AKC scent sports. Have a different behavior you want to try training? I can help with that! We can work together to create a custom training plan for your dog.
Trick Training
Looking to keep your dog occupied or maybe seeking AKC trick titles? Even if you just want a fun activity for you two to do together, I can teach you how to train a variety of tricks from opening/closing doors to walking backwards around you!
Behavioral Issues
Reactivity to sounds/sights, handling sensitivities, resource guarding, dog aggression, human aggression, separation anxiety, etc. These issues and more can be addressed through custom training plans that are made to fit your dog and lifestyle.
Basic Obedience
Want your dog to stay in a down? Walk without pulling? Come when called? Respond the first time you ask for a behavior? These are common problems owners experience. With my guidance, we can clean up the cues you give your dog and get the behaviors you want. Not the ones you don't.
Cooperative Care
A lot of dogs go to the vet or groomer with tails wagging and happy smiles. Sometimes that just isn't the case. For those of us with sensitive dogs vet or groomer visits might mean muzzles and restraint. There are a lot of things you can do to change that though. I have extensive experience with training cooperative husbandry behaviors so these visits can become as low-stress as possible.
Puppy Life Skills
Like kids, puppies don't magically become well-adjusted adults who can handle anything life throws at them. Raising a puppy to a happy, healthy, and stable adult dog requires work...and patience. I can provide a shortcut to extensive research on the topic and give you clear training plans and advice for each stage of your puppy's growth. By the time your puppy is grown, they'll have a foundation of skills to help them navigate life's challenges.
